Former President Donald Trump lambasted his former personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, during a rally in Waco, Texas on Saturday, calling him a “proven liar, a convicted felon, and a disbarred lawyer.”
In reference to the Manhattan district attorney’s ongoing investigation into Trump, the former president accused prosecutors of unfairly targeting him based on the testimony of a “proven liar.” He also claimed that the case against him had been summarily rejected by many highly respected prosecutors, including Democrats.

Trump further criticized Cohen for supporting his political rivals Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer while working for him, accusing him of trying to “go get Trump.” He went on to allege that “numerous prosecutors” had resigned in protest after witnessing the alleged unfair treatment he was receiving.
The attack on Cohen is the latest in a series of criticisms Trump has leveled against his former personal lawyer, who was once a staunch supporter of the former president before turning against him and testifying against him in 2019.
The former president’s speech, which lasted over an hour, touched on a wide range of topics, from the border crisis to cancel culture, and was delivered to a crowd of thousands of supporters at the Heart of Texas Coliseum.
